By Mduduzi Mtakati

The Moopong Business Enterprise specializes with distributing and hiring a variety of catering materials such as mobile toilets, tents, tables and chairs for various functions such as weddings and funerals. “The business started in 1996 with only two mobile toilets. Then, we sought other ways of growing the business, we bought one cold-room and ice-machine which we use to manufacture ice-blocks and ice-cubes for local businesses such as Rebel Business Centre, liquor stores and garages.”

Nkadimeng reveals that running this business was not an easy task: “The business stacked for the first three months after its establishment, because people in rural areas were not exposed to such catering materials then – it was a real challenge.” Patience and persistence indeed paid-off to Nkadimeng and her husband, their business has, and still is constantly growing. Presently they have 3 big cold-rooms and ice-machines 15 mobile toilets and many other catering materials.

On-the-other-hand, Nkadimeng is selling forever living products such as Aloe Vera, forever freedom, forever bright, cardio Health and forever Royal Jelly. “These are herbal products with no side effects for ailing people”, said Nkadimeng. Not only do these people products help ailing people, but they create job opportunities for people in the society. “We host workshops whereby we introduce people to these products and thereafter we hire them to sell these products to local people”, she said.

Nkadimeng is also part-time studying her final year in Master’s Degree for Teaching at the University of South Africa (UNISA). She believes teaching is her calling because it’s always been close to her heart. When asked about her inspiration and secret to success in business, during an exclusive interview with WanCareerLife, Nkadimeng said she saw it imperative to enter into business environment, not only for herself and her family, but for the society as whole. “To start your own business, you need to have a vision, plan and faith that what you are going to start will succeed”, she added..
